This post was sponsored by Wonderbly. I received a “Lost My Name” book in return for this review. However, all views and opinions are my own.
If you spend any amount of time on social media, then chances are, you’ve heard of Wonderbly and likely seen parents posting rave reviews and photos of their kids enjoying a personalized Wonderbly book. We recently received Wonderbly’s best selling Lost My Name book series and now have one for each of the kids.
They went absolutely nuts over them!
If you aren’t familiar, Wonderbly’s Lost My Name book is a personalized story about a child who wakes up to find her (or his!) name has gone missing.
The child sets off on an adventure to track down her name, meeting magical characters along the way.
And here’s where the real magic comes in.
The characters throughout the story are actually based on your child’s name. As the “adventurer” in the story continues her journey, each character she meets along the way gives her the first letter of their name.
When you reach the end of the story, the child finally finds her name by putting all the letters together, and with a little Wonderbly magic, it turns out to be your child’s name!
Each name tells a different story.
Having read three stories, one for each of the kids, it’s so cool to see how different all of their stories are. There are so many characters, and each has their own story to tell.
In The Little Girl Who Lost Her Name, Reagan’s adventurer meets a Rabbit, an Elk, an Angel, a Giant, an Alligator and a Narwhal. Whereas in Macie’s story, her character meets a Mermaid, an Aardvark, a Chameleon, an Imp and an Elephant.
In Lincoln’s story, The Little Boy Who Lost His Name, he meets a Lion, an Inuit, a Narwhal, a Cicada, an Ostrich, a Lobster and a Nabarlek.
Between all three of these stories, there is only one common character and as you can see, many of these characters are super unique. I don’t think I had ever even heard of a Nabarlek!
P.S. It’s an animal found in Austrailia. Turns out, I’m learning something too!
The Lost My Name books are such a unique gift idea.
If you’re looking for something special and personalized, you can’t go wrong with this book. This would be so perfect for a baby shower, a first birthday, or for a child learning to read.
You can purchase a Lost My Name book for just $29.99 plus free shipping. There’s an option to customize your book before checking out by entering your child’s name and even choosing your adventurer (you get to choose between three different characters to find one that most resembles your child).
I hope your child enjoys their adventures as much as mine do! They never get tired of finding their names!
