Hello! I’m Valerie and welcome to Three Clementines! I’m located in Idaho and I’m a wife and mom to three!
I’m originally from Tucson, AZ but moved to Idaho after college in 2005 and have been here ever since! I met my husband in 2009, on Match.com of all places, yep we are a success story! 🙂 We have been married since 2011.
In December 2012, we welcomed our first child, Macie Grace. She was due on Christmas day but came almost 3 weeks early. She was the best Christmas gift ever!
Almost three years later, we went from a family of three to five when we welcomed twins, Lincoln and Reagan. They completed our family in ways we never expected! Check out Ten Realities of Having Twins for my candid take on what it’s like to have two!
I love to pretend that I’m a photographer, so if you like amateur photographs, you’re in the right place! But, if I’m being honest, they will probably all be of my children since I am obsessed with them. I have a passion for DIY and consider myself a Pinterest fanatic, which in turn supports my love for DIY. I’m an introvert at heart. I work full-time, mom full-time and then some, DIY part-time, and blog as often as I can squeeze in.
My family is the center of my universe but being a wife and a mom and especially a full-time working wife and mom is so hard and sometimes we’re hanging on by a thread. My faith in God is what gets me through most days, though most days I fail miserably even in that department. We aren’t perfect, but we’re tryin’. 🙂
A little more about Three Clementines and what can you expect to find here?
I’m calling this a “mom lifestyle” blog. That basically means that I can write about anything and everything but will most likely talk about my kids a lot. 😉
I love to work on projects and basically have project ADD. I start one, get an idea for another, and start a new project before finishing the last. But I will finish them all eventually! My love for projects is what encouraged me to start this blog. I have been DIYing for many years now and have always loved sharing what we accomplish in photos on social media, so why not take it one step further?
Check out some of my favorite projects below!
You’ll also find stories about parenting, some serious, but probably more often than not, a little goofy since our life is pretty cray. I’ll also be sharing what I learn about blogging along the way. So, if you’re interested in blogging or just getting started, or heck even an established blogger, let’s learn together! To start, check out my Recommendations page where I’ve shared some helpful blogging tools and other products I love!
So that’s it. If you’re looking for some DIY, some cute kid photos, some home decor ideas, and if I’m feeling home-makerish enough, maybe even some recipes, then you’ve come to the right place. I hope you enjoy my family’s journey through this crazy, messy, fun, amazing life!
